Literature in Initial Teacher Training - A Literature Matters Training Event

The training event will outline the value of using literature in
teaching across the curriculum, the various routes for Initial
Teacher Training, and the ways in which school libraries and School
Library Services can support ITT students and teachers in their
teaching. Nikki Gamble of Writeaway will speak about using literature
to address issues of diversity in the class room, with reference to
relevant Qualifying to Teach standards.

The event is aimed at ITT providers, school librarians and School
