Joined up design for schools launch at Discovery Museum this week
The opening reception of the joinedupdesignforschools exhibition in Newcastle, will take place at the Discovery Museum on Friday 13 January 2006, 6 - 8pm. Joinedupdesignforschools is a unique programme, which brings together some of the UK's leading designers and architects to work for teams of pupils as clients. Please RSVP to events@thesorrellfoundation.com
Additionally, there will be a forum event on Tuesday 17th of January at the Discovery Museum at which speakers include John Devlin (Gateshead Council), Frances Sorrell (The Sorrell Foundation), Chris Bissell (DfES) and Matthew Lennon.(Newcastle Council). There will be pupil presentations from Newcastle, Sunderland and Blyth, workshops and the chance to feedback.
The event runs from 10.00am - 1pm and is free.
