Why not encourage your children to take part in one of four Junior Games heats taking place throughout Gateshead next week?
Open to boys and girls 5 - 14yrs, the races are great fun, FREE to enter, and all runners receive a goodie bag!
Monday 22 May Ryton Comprehensive School
Tuesday 23 May Derwent Park, Rowlands Gill
Wednesday 24 May Oliver Henderson Park, Felling
Thursday 25 May Saltwell Park
To take part, simply turn up at any of the above heats and register at 5.30pm. Races start at 6pm.
Plus, winners of the heats will get the chance to compete in the Junior Games Challenge at Gateshead International Stadium on Sunday 11 June as a curtain raiser to the Norwich Union British Grand Prix.
