Revolution is a comic and touching epic of passionate doomed love set on an ever-changing carousel, performed by Artizani, a company specialising in outdoor entertainment and circus. The show is performed on an incredible revolving stage which rattles around changing pace and direction, apparently powered by bicycle. The audience is treated to poignant performances, lightning-fast scene changes and surreal visual images. The witty original script shows that love is as foolish as you always thought! From honeymoon to ironing room the story ends in an unexpected redemption, and a spectacular finale every bit as extravagant as a Busby Berkeley classic.
Part of 'Prepare for TakeOff'.TakeOff is part of NewcasleGateshead’s world-class festivals and events programme.
