Help make your school bloom. Enter the Gateshead Council Summer Garden Competition and your schools’ efforts could be recognised whilst helping improve Gateshead’s environment for all to enjoy.
There are 3 area competitions to enter covering the whole of Gateshead each with the category – Best Kept Garden/ Class project. This category is open to all Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Special schools in the area.

The Summer Garden Competitions are open to Gateshead residents, schools, commercial and industrial premises and religious grounds. These annual competitions are organised and supported by area In Bloom Committees, Gateshead Council, Gateshead Housing Company and B&Q.
There is no fee to enter and there’s the chance to win B&Q prize vouchers, trophies and attend the award presentation evenings held in September. The closing date for entries is Friday 29 June 2007. Entry forms are available from Gateshead Council libraries and leisure facilities. Judging will take place in late July to early August.
