Unique Opportunity for Primary and Secondary Schools to Teach through Photography - Education Pack Available THE ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY 149th INTERNATIONAL PRINT EXHIBITION - Opens at The Durham Light Infantry Museum and Art Gallery on 10 June - 16 July 2006. The Royal Photographic Society’s 149th International Print Exhibition is a unique and inspiring collection of images that showcases the work of photographers from around the world. 125 prints have been selected for the exhibition from over 1,900 images entered by more than 500 photographers. The exhibition is a mixture of cutting edge and traditional photography and includes images that represent many cultures, landscapes and lifestyles offering the opportunity for them to inspire discussion and discovery. An education pack has been developed to accompany the exhibition providing ideas and activities for teachers and educators. The teaching materials include lesson ideas for primary and secondary schools covering different subjects from Geography to Citizenship.
